Joe Locke’s family has been in the Carolina’s since 1765. He is a graduate of The Citadel (Class of '81), has built an impressive career spanning over 40 years in engineering and construction. He began his professional journey with Daniel Construction Company, which later became Fluor, where he spent four decades working on diverse projects across industries like chemicals, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, mining, manufacturing, government, and nuclear energy. Joe's ability as a project manager to solve complex issues has earned him a reputation as a highly capable and reliable leader.

In 2003, while still with Fluor, Joe founded Anchor Solutions, a consulting firm providing strategic business solutions. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to other ventures, demonstrating his diverse interests and ability to bring unique ideas to life.

His consulting firm has allowed him to extend his reach into the world of business startups, real estate, and entrepreneurial ventures, offering insights that maximize a business's positive impact on its core operations and the communities it serves. He enjoys the challenge of helping entrepreneurs map out plans, execute them effectively, and celebrate their successes. This commitment to fostering growth in individuals and communities is demonstrated the most with his involvement in church, mission projects and charitable activities that speaks to his character as someone who truly enjoys giving back.

The Anchor has two meanings: 

First, an anchor implies stability and security.  It is used to help keep ships (both large and small) from drifting away.  Our goal is to assist our clients to help them establish a process that will focus their investments in areas that will have a positive impact on their core business and the communities that they serve.

The second meaning that is hidden in the image is the symbol of a cross.  The anchor was used by many early Christians to secretly display their faith in a hostile environment when the Romans were persecuting them.  The owner of our company has a strong belief in God and is a man of integrity. 

 

The Fluff

Joe Locke is an innovative, well organized, highly focused and adaptable senior leader with diverse project management experience. Demonstrated experience in project management, security, operations and maintenance, and budgeting with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines and cost targets. A strong work ethic combined with a commitment to excellence in all assignments undertaken.

A team player, working effectively with clients, finance, stakeholders and executive management in accomplishing objectives with exemplary communication and presentation skills. Positions have included management responsibilities in global, regional, and functional groups that includes positions in: sales, budgeting, planning, scheduling, procurement, operations, strategy, business development, security, information technology and cyber security. He is a highly driven, goal-oriented professional that enables people to accomplish great things.  Projects and clients have been in the following industries:  chemicals, biotechnology / pharmaceuticals, mining, manufacturing, government, and nuclear.
